Elf studio wet wipes: Vanilla & coconut

elf studio lotion wipes - £3.75

Are you intrigued? I was. These gorgeous sounding wet-wipes had been intriguing me for quite some time, but were usually left alone due to the not so purse friendly price tag. Of course, I decided to wait out for a discount code which the lovely people at ELF often release, which meant I could order them for almost half the price. Coconut and Vanilla are probably my two favourite scents in the entire universe, I kid you not. I love everything vanilla and almost anything coconut - so these just screamed 'buy me'.

They smell exactly like the description, a gorgeous mix of vanilla and coconut and they remind me so much of sunshine beach holidays (and that gorgeous coconut sun cream!) You receive 20 wipes in a packet and they are described by elf as :

Hydrate your body with silky smooth moisture. The light and airy lotion moisturises your skin, keeping it soft and supple all day long. These convenient Lotion Wipes are great for on-the-go travel and mess-free application. Just throw them in your purse or bag for soothing and refreshing moisture without carrying around a bulky lotion bottle. Infused with Aloe, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E, Soy, Ginkgo Biloba, Coconut Milk and Sweet Almond Oil to revitalise and nourish the skin.

I wasn't quite sure what I was going to use these for, definitely not for the face as I have quite sensitive skin at the best of times. Instead I enjoy using these as part of my weekend pamper session - I particularly like to use them on the upper body (chest/arms) as they leave a lingering sweet smell which is lovely! What I like about them is that they don't leave a residue on your skin, but they do leave you feeling refreshed and moisturising, and obviously smelling like summer! They are also available in other scents if you're not quite into the sweet smell of vanilla or coconut!

What do you think of these? Could you justify the price? I've repurchased these twice, and each time I've waited for a discount code as I can't quite bring myself to spend almost £4 on 20 wet wipes!

  1. Mmm I'm not a fan of wipes, they tend to leave my skin a bit irritated. I prefer cream and tissue, those feel more gentle on me. Glad you were able to find these again at a discount price, though. : ) xx
