Monthly Favourites - March

March beauty favourites

Last month you may have noticed that I failed to post about my monthly favourites, the last installment was January. Honestly, I was kinda just loving the same things throughout February so didn't just want to post a repeat of my January faves but this month I've been switching things up a little and have a lovely fresh pile of favourites to share with you all, so here they are!

NYC smooth skin primer - £3.49
I've noticed lately that my foundation isn't wearing well, so I thought I'd try a primer underneath and wanted to find a pretty cheap one just in case I didn't like it. Turns out I did, although this does have a slight shimmer to it I find it brightens my skin and helps my makeup to last longer throughout the day.

Miss sporty stay so matte foundation - £3.99
I actually grabbed this whilst it was on offer for £2.99 on a whim. Firstly, I like the fact that miss sport have repackaged this foundation - however it now seems to be back to the old packaging on the boots wesbite? Anyway, it's a pretty decent foundation for the price. It's a medium coverage and it is matte, although I still do need a powder I've been liking this foundation a lot.

Elf eyebrow kit 'ash' - £3.75
This month I've got back into brows, some times I literally do nothing to them - I am pretty darn lazy. However, I do love this kit from elf! I use the wax side to fill in/colour my brows using my real techniques eyeliner brush and then sometimes I'll add a little of the powder over the top.

Elf jumbo shadow stick 'french lace' - £2.50
This is a recent purchase and I just love the shade! It's a gorgeous, milky/champagne pinky colour with some sparkle in there too (but not too much). Be aware, this does crease like a good'un but nothing a bit of eye primer can't help with.

Kleenex facial cleansing wipes - £2.99
I actually found these in home bargains for 69pence and picked them up as they said they were suitable for sensitive skin! I really struggle with face wipes, I've tried lots of different brands and they all irritate my skin and make it very red/burny - even baby wipes (johnson's, i'm looking at you!). These were great, super gentle and really wet and they are actually a lot bigger than the average wetwipe if that makes sense. I'd definitely repurchase these, hopefully they'll crop up at 69pence again!

Nivea daily essentials oil free moisturising day cream - £3.99
I'd read about this on a few blogs and picked it up on offer in one of the shops for around £2.50, though it's currently BOGOF in boots ladies! I like that it's oil free, yet still moisturising. It's also really gentle on the skin and again, doesn't aggravate my sensitive skin. I also really love the simple packaging of this.

Elf kabuki face brush - £6.00
I used to apply my powder with a flat top powder brush from elf, but recently I've been gravitating more towards this kabuki brush. It gives a lighter cover of powder as it doesn't get pressed into the skin which I like. It's handy for on the go as it's short and stubby haha. It's also SUPER soft.

Mac lipstick 'shy girl' - £14.00
I've just been loving this colour this month. Neutral/nude lipsticks are hard to pull off for me, but this is the perfect nude for me - it's pinky toned and I just love the look it gives. Gosh, I wish Mac lipsticks weren't so expensive.

Sunkissed eyeshadow trio - part of gift set
This is really random. I'm such a neutrals kinda gal when it comes to anything eyeshadow related, but I pulled this out of my stash one day and decided to try it out. I've been absolutely loving it, the shades are so pretty, I've been wearing the top colour all over the lid and the bottom colour in the crease. Unfortunately you can't buy these on there own, but they are part of a fab gift set from Sunkissed cosmetics for £14.99 which isn't too bad at all.

Have you tried any of these products? If so what are your thoughts on them?
