MUA Undress your skin ...

MUA Undress your skin: Shimmer highlighter

MUA (or Makeup Acadamy) are well known for producing some excellent quality super affordable products, so when I saw this powder highlighter in their new undress your skin range, I had to get it! It retails at just £3 for a whopping 7.5g of product and is available in Superdrug or on MUA's own website which currently has a lovely 3for2 offer running!

The highlighter is a baked powder product with a gorgeous pattern and simple but sturdy packaging. The highlighter is a gorgeous mixture of pink and silver tones and has good pigmentationa and colour payoff when swatched. Once applied it is quite subtle (I was a little worried about looking like a disco ball) but this gave a gentle shimmer to the face and worked well as a highlight for my skin tone (fair).

I use this as a highlight on the cheek bones with an angled blush brush as this gives a very subtle shimmer to the cheeks and brightens up my face if I feel it's a bit 'matte' looking. I've also used this as an inner corner highlight on the eye which is lovely and also as a brow highlight just under the brow bone which I also loved! For the bargainous price of just £3 I think this is an absolutely fabulous multi-use product which will last a very long time!

Have you tried this product, or do you have any other highlighter recommendations?

  4. I have mixed feelings regarding MUA products, their lip balms are very nice, but their Undress Me Too palette is awful. Glad this works for you, though ^^ xx
