Top 5 for Spring: Lip glosses

Top 5 for Spring: Lip glosses

Today's post is the first in a series of Top 5 for srping round ups! I'm going to do a quick gathering of my top 5 products for lots of different things (so if you have any suggestions/requests then please do leave them below). First up is lip gloss, which I love and tend to use a bit more in the spring as I have such pretty colours and don't always feel like wearing a lipstick. All the following are 'drugstore' lipglosses, I actually don't own any high end glosses as I can't justify the cost on a lipgloss (yet I can on a lipstick? I have no logic). I've also done a quick browse of the good old word wide web and found where these are available so the links will be below too!

1. NYX gloss in 'whipped' (available here & here)
2. Revlon colour burst in 'sunset peach' (available here & here)
3. Avon glazewear sparkle in 'amethyst' (available here & here
4. Soap and glory sexy mother pucker 'punch bowl' (available here & here)
5. Elf luscious liquid lipstick in 'baby lips' (available here)

 1. 'whipped'  - a subtle peachy-nude with an almost matte colour
2.  'sunset peach' - a gorgeous coral/peach colour with tiny gold shimmer throughout
3. 'amethyst' - a bright blue toned pink with silver shimmer throughout
4. 'punch bowl' - a bright pink matte lipgloss, great colour payoff
5. 'baby lips' - a pale pink/nude with little shimmer

What is your favourite shade from the above selection? If you have any lipgloss recommendations in terms of shades or formula or brands, leave them below :)

  2. I'm familiar with the NYX girls glosses and they're among my favourites! Great choices of colours you have here Jess ^^ Lately I've been enjoying quite a lot the MUA lip balms... well, technically they're balms, but they're shiny like glosses so... If you haven't tried those, give them a go. I'm not a huge fan of the 'jar' packaging but still. Have a great weekend darling xx

    1. I've tried the MUA balms and I like them too, I think I have the shade sweet kiss (light pink) they smell delicious and are really nice on - agree with the packaging though I'd rather a tube and a wand! :) Thankyou, you too! xo

  3. It's only in the past month that I've started to love lipglosses, I always thought they were the super sticky gets in your hair and all over your face that I used to use at school lol! So I love looking for new lipglosses to try out :) I love 3, 4 and 5! Gorgeous colours :)

    1. I completely agree, but if you find the right formula then they really aren't that sticky so no hair sticking to your face ;) haha. xx

    1. Hi Kirsty, yes it is a plumping one and makes your lips tingle which is strange! xo
