Batiste Dry Shampoo

I'm not sure about you, but I couldn't live without dry shampoo. Of course, it could never replace a normal shampoo - and is not intended to do so, but for those in-between washing days it's a life saver! I'm not sure why I've never shared my opinions on this product before on my blog, but it has made a sneaky appearance in some monthly favourites and monthly empties posts!

Batiste is perhaps the best known brand when it comes to dry shampoo and is the one brand I go back to every single time. I've tried several other brands of dry shampoo, from big names to superdrug's own but for me, they never quite live up to my love for Batiste Tropical! Tropical is a mix of exotic scents and coconut and smells like a holiday in a bottle - and it has to be my favourite scent of them all, although I do like 'blush' too which is the pink can!

What I like about this product is that is a huge time saver, it's easy to use and it actually does the job. You just need to spray the product on the roots of your hair from about 30cm distance (spray too close and it will come out quite white, like aerosol talc) but sprayed from a distance this isn't too bad. You DO need to rub it in properly, as you don't want a 'dusty' look about your hair, but this is one of the brands that I find actually disappears and doesn't leave your hair feeling too chalky. It refreshes hair and lifts your hair if it's starting to become a little oily in between washes.

I'd thoroughly recommend Batiste if you're on the market for a good dry shampoo. And for those festival goers or campers among you it is an absolute must! Are you a fan?

  1. I love the Klorane dry shampoos. I find Batiste is equally as good though, it's just comes down the the spray for me :)

  2. I love Batiste although I haven't tried the tropical scent. I'm using the plain one and it's a bit boring.
