July Favourites

This month I've noticed that I am wearing a lot less make-up, probably due to the heatwave we had during July and my general laziness when it comes to doing my face. Surprisingly, I've switched up things a little this month and I've removed myself from my 'rut' of using the same products day in day out, so here are a few of my favourites from this month :

Mac MSF in 'soft and gentle'
I seriously cannot get enough of this product, if there was ONE product I recommend to absolutely everyone and their mother, it would be this soft and gentle msf! It's the perfect mix of pink, rose gold and shimmer and looks sooo good on! I like to use this as a highlight to give my skin a healthy looking glow and also as a brow-bone highlight! I've also found this suitable as an all-over lid colour for those lazy/simple days.

Benefit So hooked on Carmella
I am one of those girls who has more perfume than I know what to do with! Recently I've started to use my benefit perfume again and forgot how much I loved it. This particular scent is very heavily scented with sandalwood/vanilla etc so it's not to everyone's taste but I love it - It's like summer and malibu and beaches in a bottle! It also lasts a really long time using only a tiny amount, I always get questions on what I'm wearing when I use this!

Revlon just bitten kissable balm stain in 'Rendezvous'
Shock horror - I have used something other than a nude/light pink on my lips!! Rendezvous is a bright orange lip crayon which has amazing staying power. Although it's super bright - it's not too in your face, and if used lightly it can give you just the flush of colour you need. I personally quite like the scent, it's a bit minty - but this is in my favourites purely for the colour. It's perfect for summer!

Mac 'Hue' lipstick
Surprise Surprise! My neautrals managed to sneak back in, this time in the form of 'Hue' by mac. This was actually my very first mac lipstick and I think it will always be my favourite. It's such a cult shade, but it really is the perfect lipstick. It's a nude/muted pink and it just suits my skintone perfectly and goes with absolutely everything. I love it for everyday wear!

MUA undress your skin foundation in 'Porcelain'
I recently reviewed this foundation here so please check that out if you'd like more information. I've really enjoyed using this foundation this month, it's a very good coverage considering it is a 'natural' looking foundation and I love the shade.

Mac Face & Body foundation in 'C1'
On days when my skin has been behaving (the sunshine has really made a difference in my skin) I've gravitated towards face and body for a bit of coverage. I still can't quite go bare-faced but this is ideal for evening skin tone and still letting freckles be visible - although it is pretty buildable too. I do need to powder like there is no tomorrow with this, but I just love the coverage!

What have you been loving during July? Have you tried any of these products?
