The skincare tag!

So, recently my bestest blogging chummy Lisa of Lisahh-Jayne tagged me to do the skincare tag. Now, as much as I love skincare I am a bit rubbish at using it properly and very lazy when it comes to taking care of my face/skin, but I'll give it a go anyway - for those skin-care-a-holics amongst you, please feel free to tell me off & recommend some fabulous products to me!

So here are the questions!

Describe your skincare routine in 5 words..

Unorganised, slightly lazy, moisturised and cleanse.

What's your skin type?

I'm going to label it as combination skin! I have a bit of trouble with an oily tzone, my nose and chin are forever oily and I often need to re-powder towards the end of the day. Having said that I can somtimes get dry patches on my forehead  and then if my skin is behaving then somedays I'd even class it as normal (basically, in short I have no bloomin' idea!!)

What's your favourite skincare product?

Definitely hot cloth cleansers! I'm a massive fan of Liz earle cleanse and polish, but I also love Superdrugs version vitamin-e hot cloth cleanser which is a fraction of the price too!

Top blemish zapper

My go to blemish zapper is clean and clear's spot treatment, which is a bit of a pain to find in stores but is an absolute godsend! I find it really helps with redness and reducing the size of a spot and actually works! I also really like witch's blemish stick (but be warned, it stings a little)

Face wipes yay or nay?

Ummmm..... yay? I'm sorry but they are just so easy! I do try to cleanse aswell as remove makeup with wipes and I usually do this but I have been known to purely rely on face wipes on occasion (sorry Lisa!!!!)

Toner yay or nay?

It's a bit of a nay for me! I used to do the whole cleanse tone and moisturise, but found toning made absolutely no difference to my skin so now I kind of skip that step - if you have any recommendations of something that will make me feel the difference then go ahead!

High end skincare or high end makeup?

I am generally a big lover of drugstore/high street brands when it comes to both. But I think I'd rather splash the cash on high end skincare as you do need to have a good base before you can have a good face!

What's the most unusual skincare product you've tried?

Ooh, not too sure on this one. My neighbour once gave my mum a gift of an amazing moisturiser from Russia that had sheeps placenta (TMI?) Anyway, my neighbour swears by it but I'm not quite willing to give it a go!!

You're in a French pharmacy and can only pick one item - what is it?

Something that has English writing on? As knowing me I'd probably buy a cream that had some kind of snail remains in it haha. Or Bioderma .. I've heard that's good.

Tell us your top skincare tip

PLENTY OF WATER!!!! IT REALLY DOES MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE TO THE LOOK AND FEEL OF YOUR SKIN LADIES!!

I tag -

& anyone else who want's to answer these questions on their blog of course!
