Yankee Candle Haul

I know I'm not the only blogger or human being obsessed with Yankee Candles, but I personally find them to be quite an expensive habit! Recently, I discovered a more 'cost effective' way of enjoying Yankee Candles at a lower price tag and that involves using their wax tart burner! It is essentially like an oil burner, in that you put a tealight (you can get about 100 for £1) and then you pop your wax tart of choice in the top and then allow the fragrance to take over your entire room! I've found they last SO long, I can burn them for hours and it seems to be the same size constantly. You can just pop the tart out once it becomes solid again, and then you just use it again next time and so far I've not run out of any scents! I also find that burning them this way, scents the entire room and then wafts all over the house too.

Pink Dragon Fruit, Summer Scoop, Sparkling Lemon, Pineapple Cilantro
Garden Sweetpea, Camomile tea, Sicilian Lemon, Sparkling Lemon

Each wax tart retails for between £1-£2 depending on where you buy them, and they often go on some kind of offer in scent of the month or in a multi-buy which makes them even cheaper. The wax burner itself is only around £7 and can be purchased at yankee candle retailers including Asda! I'd 100% recommend this method of yankee candle craziness - they smell SOOOOO good! Have you tried them? What's your favourite smell .. any recommendations?

  2. Red Apple Wreath is my favourite, shame it only comes out at a certain time of the year. Kringle Candles are way stronger than Yankee by the way, I burned a jar of Maple Sugar downstairs, went upstairs for two minutes and could still smell it.

  7. I have a huge biscuit tin full of the tarts, it's such a great way to enjoy the scents, I used to buy the little candles but they don't last long at all! I've bought one jar but they're really expensive. I love the more wintry/autumn scents - pumpkin spice, sandalwood, witches' brew, moonlight something-or-other, fireside treats, candy corn, merry christmas, pink sands, candy apple wreath, blueberry muffin, cupcake.......may be slightly obsessed...

  12. I just LOVE the smell of Yankee Candles, though I do buy cheaper ones, like Tesco/Asda/Sainsburys own brand because they are cheaper but they have a LOT less variety!!

My favourite is probably... summer scoop!!
