The White Company Haul

Earlier on in the month I attended the launch evening of The White Company in Cardiff which you can read about in my previous blog posts. Having never shopped with The White Company before, I was very excited by all of the amazing products and items in store and spent a long time smelling all of the different perfumes and home fragrances. Of course, I couldn't leave without buying something and I knew immediately which fragrance was my favourite!

How cute are their little shopping bags?
My favourite scent was of course Seychelles which is described as:

Evoking the balmy breeze of an Indian Ocean island, soothing Seychelles combines notes of fresh bergamot, bright orange and rich amber with warming notes of exotic coconut, vanilla and almond.

This scent literally smells like a tropical island and is reminiscent of a holiday, it's a very warm and iniviting scent and it is definitely my favourite out of the large selection of scents available from The White Company.

I purchased the Seychelles Hand and Nail cream and the Seychelles Home Fragrance Spray. Other products available in this range include candles, scent diffusers, soap, tea lights and bath and body lotions.

The home fragrance spray retails at £15 and contains 100ml of product. The packaging is as expected from The White Company, elegant, chic and simple - with a glass bottle, a silver cap and the signature White Company labelling. The product itself is amazing, it's a very powerful scent and as suggested you only need a couple of sprays to scent an entire room. I usually spray 2-3 times towards the centre of my room and it fills the entire space with a delicious fragrance. And yes, it is that delicious that I am cheeky of having a little spritz before I leave the house and I always get compliments - it really lingers on my clothes even if I just spray my room because obviously like the lazy gal I am I have clothes hanging around on my chair (chairdrobe anyone?). I really wouldn't let the price tag put you off this product - yes, it is more than I would usually spend. However, it is hands down the best room fragrance I have ever used and I know for definite this will be a repurchase, if I ever get to the bottom of the bottle - it will also last a good amount of time!

The hand and nail cream retails for £14 and contains almond oil and shea butter which help to heal and moisturise dry hands. Again, the packaging is typical of The White Company, a simple plastic bottle with a silver top and a handy 'pump' function for easy use. You get 250ml of product, and again you only need a small amount of the product each use. I typically use one pump which is plenty, the product sinks right into the skin without leaving your hands feeling greasy yet it also leaves them feeling smooth. The scent, again lingers on your skin which I really like - even after washing my hands several times they still smelled amazing! I'd really like to see a mini version of the handcreams in travel packaging as I'd love to carry one of these in my handbag for on-the-go use!

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with my purchase from The White Company. They are slightly more expensive than my usual choices when it comes to hand lotion and room sprays, but they are actually brilliant. The quality is top notch and the scent is to die for. I've converted all of my family to this room spray so now I have to hide it.

Have you tried anything from The White Company, or even this scent?
