NOTW: Sinful Colours 'Nirvana'

Well, if you haven't guessed by the dark mornings, cold weather and abundance of rain ... it's officially Autumn. Of course, this means that I can now crack out my suitable nail polishes and some of my favourite autumnal/winter shades to carry myself into the season nicely. My first Autumn pick has been from Sinful Colours - a brand that has quite recently become available at Boots in the UK! Sinful colours are priced at a very budget friendly £1.99 and they have various finishes to choose from aswell as a whole rainbow of shades. The shade I am currently loving is '949 Nirvana' which is part of the matte shade range - other finishes available include pearl, glitter, shimmer and cream!

How gorgeous is this colour?! My all time favourite polish has always been a toss up between a pretty pastel in Essie's 'mint candy apple' and my fool-proof go to for autumn/winter - Barry M's Mushroom. Nirvana by sinful colours reminds me so much of Mushroom by Barry M - it's almost identical, except the sinful colours version has a much higher shine to the finish and it applies so smoothly. I'm really impressed with this polish, the photo above is taken after just 2 thin coats - so it's a very 'true' colour representation. In terms of wear time this has been on around 4 days with no major chips, just a tiny amount of wear at the top of one nail - which is pretty impressive for less than £2!

Have you tried sinful colours? If so, do you have any shade recommendations? I've fallen in love with this formula and you really can't go wrong for the price!

  2. I love this shade! I have a few Sinful Colours nail polishes and find that they seem to chip extremely easy on me but I may pick this one up and give them a second chance to grow on me! xxx

    1. This ones lasted really well on me - and I didn't use a top coat! I haven't tried any other shades other than a glitter one so couldn't comment on that - maybe the different finishes last differently? :) xx
