Having previously used the shampoo and conditioner from Avon's moroccan argan oil range (see here) I was excited to try out their leave in treatment oil. Moroccan oils and argan oils are massive at the moment and there are so many differnt brands and types available to suit any budget, this particular oil is around the £5 mark - currently on offer for just £3.50. Here's what I thought:
For the price, you get 30ml of product. Suggested usage is a 'small size amount' so although this is smaller than some of hair oils available, you don't need a great deal for each use - I usually stick to about a coin sized measure! The packaging is a clear glass bottle, with a plastic pump and cap which is very compact and it's great to see how much of the product you have left.
The oil itself is a light gold colour and smells incredible! If you've used avon's hair products before, this smells very similar to their advance techniques dry end serum! The product is designed to be used on wet or dry hair and aimed at giving added shine and a smooth finish to your hair!
To use on wet hair, simply towel dry your hair and apply a small amount througout, focusing on the ends. For dry hair, I use this as a finishing product - so after styling and brushing, I just smooth this over the ends of my hair, where damage is most visible. Here are my results from applying this to dry, styled hair as a finishing oil:
As you can see, before hand my hair has a few fly away bits and looks quite dry! After applying a small amount of the oil the difference is amazing! In the bottom picture, you can hopefully see that my hair generally looks a lot smoother, with less fly aways and dryness and a lot more shine and glossy!
What do you think?
