Springtime always means one thing when it comes to choosing a nail colour; pastels! In today's post I'm going to share some of my favourite spring nail colours all from highstreet and drugstore brands!

First up is a gorgeous deep turquoise shade from Miss Sporty which I believe is the shade 'Ferris Wheel' although annoyingly the bottles don't include the shade names? Anyway, I've shown this beauty in a nail post before (which you can see here) and it's a vivid, bright sea blue/green shade that looks stunning in just one coat! They retail at just £1.99 and have a chunky brush making application quick and easy, with around 3-4 days wear. Next up is one of my all time favourites from Essie, which is Mint Candy Apple. I'm sure this shade is almost everyone's favourite pastel green polish but it truly is lovely. Essie are definitely at the higher end of the budget at £7.99 but they offer a huge range of shades, a great finish and generally around 4 days chip free wear time.

A great option for nude nails this spring is 'Lychee' from Barry M's high gelly shine collection. This is a soft peach toned nude that looks beautiful on the nails and gives a very natural but finished look. Another addition from the high gelly shine range is 'Prickly Pear' which is the perfect pastel lavender shade that any lilac lovers need! It's a pretty, girly colour for spring and the finish of these gelly shines are fab! Finally is another addition from Essie which is 'Bikini So teenie'; a soft powder blue with faint silver shimmer running throughout. Again, this is a brilliant soft pastel shade for spring and you're looking at a good few days wear time with Essie.

What are your favourite shades to wear in Spring?
