April beauty favourites

april beauty favourites makeup hair

This month I have been loving a few new additions to my makeup collection. First of which has been this NHP top ten perfect styling cream* (full review here) which I have used every week on my hair. I use this as a serum/conditioner on wet hair to help reduce frizz when drying and then I also use it as a styling product on dry hair to give smooth ends and a sleek finish. Check out my blog post review for before and after pics - it actually makes a massive difference to my hair!

Another new addition is Seventeen Miracle Matte Powder which as you can see, has been used a lot! I think I actually prefer this to Rimmel Stay Matte as it doesn't cake up if you reapply throughout the day and it also provides a tiny bit of extra coverage (or at least I feel like it does). I also prefer this packaging as it has a good sized mirror included so it's great for taking with you in a handbag. Avon Ideal Flawless foundation has been a firm favourite this month. I have a full review coming soon but to sum it up in one sentence; awesome coverage, perfect shade and flawless skin in a bottle.

Revlon lipbutter in Juicy Papaya has been making several appearances this month too, it's just the perfect colour for this time of year and ideal for every day use. I've also found myself using this MUA colour burst eyeshadow stick in 'stay' which is a soft buttery gold shade that is so easy to use and great for quick makeup applications.

Finally I have been using my Soap and Glory Solar Powder bronzer for contouring, which is perfect for my pale skin tone as it's not too orange. I like that it is almost completely matte and isn't massively pigmented so it's easy to work with without resulting in brown lines on your face. Another hair product I have been enjoying lately is this Argan Oil Conditioner which makes my hair feel incredibly soft and it's £1! I can't believe how soft my hair felt after using this, brilliant budget buy!

Have you used any of these products?
