Fragrance Friday #1: Ghost Eclipse perfume for Summer 2014

ghost eclipse fragrance perfume review 50ml debenhams

Today's post is the first of this month's blog feature; 'Fragrance Friday'. You can expect a fragrance themed post every Friday for the next four weeks and a whole lot of my sharing my thoughts on some old favourites and new additions!

Ghost eclipse is the brand new fragrance from Ghost for Summer 2014. Described as an invigorating and dynamic scent, eclipse is designed to lift your spirits and evoke carefree feelings with its fruity yet floral fragrance. With notes of bergamot, lemon and apple you get a light, sweet scent whilst hints of lotus flower and rose give it a feminine floral scent. You also smell light touches of amber and musk which give the perfume some depth and a lingering, sensual scent.

The combination of fresh fruity notes, delicate florals and deep musk make this the perfect transitional scent that can work for all seasons. Personally, I don't tend to split my fragrances up into summer/winter in a strict scent, but I do gravitate more towards fresh and fruity for summer. This is perfect for either! Also, a quick mention to the beautiful and unusual packaging. Okay, so it isn't the perfect shape for your handbag but it will certainly look lovely out on display!

Ghost eclipse retails for £34.00 and will be available nationwide from 1st July in Debenhams, Boots & The Fragrance Shop.
