Nars 'deep throat' blush review

It's official, I now own something from Nars! For my birthday last month I was lucky enough to receive two Nars blushers in the shades 'deep throat' and 'torrid' (thanks Lauren & Amy!). They are definitely a luxury, high end item and I have used them every day since I received them. The packaging is sleek and sophisticated and the rubberised texture is something a little bit different. However I do agree with everyone on how quickly they become dirty! Oops.

Deep Throat (still doesn't feel right writing that shade out, weird name choice Nars) is described as a shimmering peach which is pretty much correct, however I do feel it is on the pink side of the peach scale. Does that sentence even make sense? I digress. Deep Throat is a stunning shimmering, pretty shade that can add a bright pop of colour or provide a subtle flush. The consistency is very finely milled considering the shimmer and the shimmer particles are small, which is great as this means the product won't enhance pores and highlight any imperfections. Instead, this blush provides a sweeping hint of peach/pink on the cheeks, perfect for everyday.

The colour pay off is intense and pigmentation is brilliant. One swirl of your brush and you're good to go. With that being said, the formula is very blendable and easy to work with so nothing to worry about if you are a bit heavy handed when it comes to blusher. I really love this shade, it's great for day to day wear and I'd say it will work well with most skin tones as you can easily build up the colour from a subtle tint to a bright sweep of pink/peach!

NARS Blush - Deep Throat (4.8g/0.16oz) retails for £21.50.
