So I think it's safe to say, I have a slight addiction to candles. I have my typical scents and they are always along the line of linen, cotton, baby blanket, fresh washing etc - I just love having soft, gentle pure scents that smell clean and fresh. When I saw this Egyptian Cotton candle from Shearer Candles in Tesco I couldn't resist it! Now, for some reason this cost me only £2.50 but they actually retail for £15! So, either it was some kind of price error or Tesco were feeling generous with the discounts. Glad I picked it up when I did!
It comes presented in this beautiful box packaging, which I've actually kept for storage purposes in my makeup area! The candle itself is house in a thick clear glass jar with the words 'couture' around it. It's simple and chic and looks lovely out on display. As for the scent, it is beautiful! It is described as a smooth silky floral with notes of rose, jasmine and carnations warmed with a touch of clove. It really is a lovely, fresh floral scent that fills an entire room. It smells like crisp, fresh linen and is perfect for any room. I absolutely love it and would love to try more scents from the range! Burning time is around 40 hours.
