I'm still waiting for Wet n Wild to hit the UK; it would be much appreciated! Luckily, they've already made their way to Ireland and my super fabulous friend Lauren was kind enough to send me over two of their most talked about palettes from their line. First up is the 'Walking on eggshells' trio and second is 'the comfort zone' palette.
I'm seriously impressed with both. The shade range is great, with a mix of lighter neutral shades and smokey, darker shades which allow you to create a variety of looks from one palette. I like that they have the embossed words, letting you know where you should apply them; although you don't have to stick to that layout of course! Each of the shades are smooth and buttery in consistency, which makes for a really strong pigmented application and colours that really show up well. They packaging is simply, nothing fancy but very compact as well as coming with two small applicators which aren't great but they are usable if needs be.
Walking on eggshells is a great little everyday trio, very easy to wear and great for a simple neutral eye with a shimmering highlight. The Comfort Zone palette has 4 neutral, golden, brown shades great for everyday but also has 4 darker shades that are great for adding to the crease and adding depth to your eyeshadow colour.
If you're in the US/Canada these are readily available. If you're in Ireland you can get your hands on these in Dunnes; trios are €4.49 and 8-pan palettes are €6.49. If you're in the UK like me, you have three options:
a - patiently wait until the UK gets with the times and stocks wet n wild
b - pay extortionate shippping fees on the likes of ebay
c - do a makeup swap
