A short while ago I decided to make use of one of Elf's mega discount codes that they frequently release (50% off everything) and ordered a few new products to try! As a general rule; I love Elf cosmetics - they are really affordable, have excellent customer service both online, social media and in their Cardiff store and they always have new products to try! So here's what I got this time:

Their studio moisturising lipstick in the shade 'pink minx' which is a matte, subtle bright pink shade which is almost like a mix of mac creme cup and speed dial! I love the formula of these lipsticks; they are really pigmented, matte but moisturising! Elf's studio range is basically the middle range of their website; they have the basics which are around £1.95 and then the studio range which is £3.95 and then more 'expensive' items which are around the £6-£8 mark - all three ranges are great quality and prices so it's a great site to try out if you're looking for budget makeup.

Another two items from their studio range are these baked blushes in the shades 'pinktastic' (lightest shade) and 'peachy cheeky'. The packaging of these is very simple and non-expensive looking but the product inside is awesome! These baked blushes from elf are like a hybrid blush/highlight that looks so lovely on the cheeks and really helps add a natural looking glow to the skin! Again, these have really great pigmentation they are quite finely milled with minimal fall-out and great colour pay off.

I also picked two brushes from their beauty tools section - which is always great to check out as not many brands offer quality, budget friendly makeup brushes for this low of a price; anywhere from £1.95 each! I chose the studio blush brush which is a super-soft, tapered dome shape that is absolutely wonderful for applying blush and highlight - its the perfect size! I also chose their blending eye brush from their regular line which is a steal at £1.95; it's a great size, super soft and does the job perfectly for less than £2!

Have you tried anything from ELF before? What is your favourite buy?
