This week's Salon Sunday is all about the hair treatments. There are two game changers when it comes to haircare in the last year or so; Moroccan Oil and Macadamia Oil. It seems that every other product in the hair care aisle now contains one of these ingredients or at least claims to!
Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Spray is part of the original macadamia oil range and is described as a healing oil spray that is light and weightless in order to add moisture and shine to your hair without weighing it down. It claims to help with tangles and frizz as well as having natural UV protection and improving drying time. A lot of claims for such a cute little bottle, huh?
This works with wet and dry hair, although I prefer using it on wet hair. After towel drying, I spritz a bit of this onto my hair focusing on the ends in particular as this is where my hair is prone to frizz. After drying and styling as normal, I definitely notice a difference when I use this macadamia healing oil spray - my hair looks and feels much shinier and a lot smoother than when I don't use it. It's much easier to comb through once I've sprayed this, so it does help with tangles too. On dry hair, a little of this in your hand rubbed together works well as a finishing serum to tame any stray hairs and give smooth ends.
I'd say this is a worthwhile purchase for those who want to have more shine in their hair and tame frizz and tangles, making your hair smoother. It's actually pretty cheap to pick up too - you can find it for £6 on Amazon at the moment!
